Chain oil reduces chain wear. Use Clean the bicycle chain with the Bicycle Cleaner (6054). After cleaning, wipe the chain as needed. Apply a thin layer of chain oil to the bicycle chain. Make a few turns of the wheel so that the oil spreads over the entire chain. DO NOT ALLOW CHAIN OIL TO GET ON THE BRAKES!
